Capitol Hill
Co-Founder

Colin Reed is a nationally recognized political and communications strategist with extensive experience guiding high-profile candidates, individuals and institutions with their most pressing campaigns and challenges. Described by The Hill as, “a veteran of the opposition-research wars that have helped to define presidential races,” Mr. Reed served as the Executive Director of America Rising PAC during the 2016 presidential election cycle. He has also worked directly with C-Suites and top executives at some of the nation’s leading private sector institutions where his instinctual understanding of the media environment and experience as a crisis communicator have drawn corporate leaders, particularly in the technology and energy sectors, to seek his counsel.

A Massachusetts native, Mr. Reed spent more than a dozen years creating and implementing high profile and complex communications campaigns for the nation's leading political figures. He was described by Politico as "dogged in his pursuit to put points on the board.” He is a regular on-air political analyst for FOX News and opinion columnist for FOXNews.com, and his punditry is frequently featured in the nation’s leading media outlets. He is also a frequent columnist in the UK Sunday Express.

Mr. Reed cut his political teeth working for Republicans in deep blue New England. In 2014, he was the campaign manager for the Senate campaign of Ambassador Scott Brown in New Hampshire, which was described by a leading Republican pollster as “the best campaign” in the country. In that role, he oversaw a $10.5 million dollar budget and hired and managed a staff of 18 full-time employees at headquarters. Prior to this campaign, Reed served as one of the primary spokesmen for New Jersey Governor Chris Christie during his 22-point election win. He served for several years on Capitol Hill and spent the 2008 cycle on the presidential campaigns of Senator John McCain and Governor Mitt Romney.

Mr. Reed is a graduate of the Journalism School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He lives in Washington, D.C. with his wife, Andrea, and their rescue dog, Tillie.
